As a celebrated medium of expression within Colombian society, Voices has embraced letterpress printing of empapelados as a preferred approach to confront drivers of violence and help reinforce social cohesion.

Building from research highlighting the fragmentation of marginalized communities as a driver of conflict, Voices has been working with artists and university students to reframe diversity as a source of pride and strength. This includes 2023’s “Celebremos Cauca” poster and a follow-up initiative planned for the spring of 2024. While details are still being finalized, the themes will once again emphasize celebrating the diversity of Cauca in all of its various forms.
